The Long Version

My parents, David & Jackie, have been married for almost 29 years now and are high school sweethearts from McMinnville, Tennessee. All of my relatives still live in Tennessee so it's like a second home to me. My parents moved to Texas before I was born because my dad got a job at Texas Instruments, where he still works. I have three siblings and I'm the second oldest. The oldest, Dave, is 26, and is married to Joanna (Brown) Bouldin, as of March 17, 2001. Dave & Jo are moving in July to Knoxville, TN so Dave can complete his Masters in Architecture at the "real" UT. My "little" brother, Christopher, is 6'4", 19 and is attending Stephen F. Austin University. He's majoring in Business, Math, and the ladies... (j/k Jamie). The youngest, Laura, is 16 and is almost a junior in high school. She's loves church, boys (one specifically) and being an athletic trainer... she's also driving now!

PRESENTLY:
Last year, I graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, with a BA degree in Religion. It's a SMALL liberal arts university and I like it a lot - there's wonderful people there and the campus is pretty too! I highly recommend checking it out if you're college hunting.

After graduation, I started working at Wesley United Methodist Church in Greenville, Texas as their full-time Youth Director/Minister. After a year there, I'm still SUPER EXCITED about this opportunity for ministry.

FUTURE:
Jaime Barraza and I are engaged to be married November 30, 2002. We've known each other since middle school, 11 years ago, and it was love at first sight for me. We've been together since our junior year of high school. We're high school sweethearts too, aahh! He's graduating from THE Univ. of Texas in Austin and is soon to be moving up to the Dallas area. I think he's really amazing! =)

My Personal Taste
I like the movie "Shawshank Redemption", candles, the stars, traveling (I studied in London for a semester), dancing, cheese, labrador retrievers (I'm going to have one someday), Dave Matthews Band, hanging out with friends, taking pictures, sunsets, Bridgeport Church Camp, chicken (the food), Caedman's Call, people who use their signal lights when changing lanes, riding horses, the book "The Outsider", monkeys, Mexican and Chinese food, sleep, the movie "The Rock", sheep, ALL ice cream, sunrises, being artsy, movies in general...
I LOVE God, Jesus, my family, friends, Jaime, the feeling of no more school, mushrooms and the color Blue (it's my absolute favorite)!
